Peaceful Mind,Productive Habits
About

Why this exists

For years, my nights and weekends belonged to other people's jobs, projects, and dreams. I was good at the work. I was also quietly aware that I was spending my life without pursuing my own.

I had always been able to uplift, encourage, and motivate others. I never thought of that as a purpose. It was just something I could do.

A question about purpose changed that. I started journaling and sitting in stillness, and before long I was carrying three journals every day: one for gratitude, one for planning, one blank. Eventually I merged them into a single book of my own. Then I realized it might help someone else.

Building that book took the same long nights and full weekends as before. The difference was this time, they belonged to me. I lost track of time completely. That is when I knew I had found the work I am meant to do.

The name came from words I had been saying to my own family for years. A peaceful mind creates productive habits. Productive habits create an intentional life.

Robert Washington

Peace is not the reward for productivity. It is the precondition.
